Goddess Bath Salts

If there's one thing that you need not spend your hard earned dollars on, it's bath salts. Likely the easiest thing to make and a great recipe to make with the kids as you really can't mess it up.
This recipe is so pretty and floral-ly and feminine, hence the name goddess bath salts. Himalayan and epsom salts are rich in minerals, particularly magnesium and help relax tired muscles, whilst kaolin clay detoxifies. Essential oils of geranium, patchouli, ylang ylang and jasmine promote a calming and tranquil atmosphere and leave you smelling like a goddess.

Ingredients

150g Himalyan salt
10g white kaolin clay
100g epsom salts
5 drops each of geranium, patchouli, jasmine and ylang ylang essential oils
small handful of dried rose petals

Method

You can mix all ingredients together if you're not fussed about how it looks, but we recommend leaving the rose petals to one side and layering the salts with the rose petals in your 250ml jar and finishing with a layer of the petals. This makes it look totally gorgeous on the bathroom shelf or as a thoughtful gift.
