Why DIY?

When you discover how easy and cost effective it is to make your own skincare and cleaning products, I promise you'll never want to go back to buying over-priced beauty treatments ever again! If you're wanting to branch out but you're not sure if DIY is for you, let me point out a few reasons why making your own beauty, cleaning and other household products is totally worth it!

YOU'LL SAVE $$$

Why spend $20, $30 or even $50+ on a body scrub when making your own is just as effective and costs a fraction of the price of the store-bought varieties? Save yourself a tonne of cash in the long run and make it yourself.

YOU'LL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT'S IN IT

By making your own products, you are in control of what ingredients you use. You can be comfortable knowing your products are natural, free of toxic chemicals and most importantly, safe for yourself and your family.

IT'S BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Making your own products greatly reduces the amount of waste ending up in landfill. Think of how much packaging you're saving by reusing the same glass bottles and jars over and over again. Add to that our reusable labels, and you'll further reduce packaging.

You can also purchase your ingredients in bulk or buy from bulk retailers that allow you to bring your own containers to fill. I'm a fan of the source bulk foods or you can hit up your local health food store, often they sell in bulk.

IT'S EASY AND IT'S FUN

I have intentionally created skincare and cleaning recipes that are super easy and use only a few simple, yet totally effective ingredients.

And because our time is precious, many of my recipes are super quick to whip up (often quicker than it takes to boil the kettle).

DIY is also a wonderful way of bringing your friends together and exploring beautiful scents and textures in an uplifting and inspiring feminine setting. Also a great activity for baby and bridal showers or birthdays where each guest can take home their creations. And did I mention each product makes a thoughtful and inspiring gift, all lovingly made by you.
